Plans for 2008 Calendar 20th July Workday Sunday 13th July 1.00pm WESTERN HEIGHTS LONG TRAIL £3 An anti-clockwise walk taking in 90% of the fortifications on the Western Heights. See the Drop Redoubt, the North centre Detached Bastion, the Citadel, Citadel Battery, the site of South Front Battery, Victoria Hall and the site of the Garrison Chapel. MEET: St Martin’s Battery car park, South Military Road, Dover (TR 314 407). DISTANCE: 4 miles (4 hours).
